SQUIZZ IN THE NEWS

Squizz Digital Signage, along with our founder and CEO Chris Oar, are featured in the January/February edition of Stanislaus Magazine.  Stanislaus Magazine is one of the premier lifestyle magazines of California’s Central Valley. The story is part of the magazine’s “Horizons” section that focuses on up and coming businesses and people in the community and can be viewed online by clicking this link to www.StanMag.com.

“It was a great honor to be featured.”, said Oar. “A lot of my friends and clients read the magazine and I’ve already gotten several calls because of it.”STANMAG COVER

The article gives a little background on Chris, who moved to Modesto, CA from Australia nearly 25 years ago.

“In 1992 Chris Oar moved from Australia to Modesto. His engineering background could have led him down another career path, but his passion and ability to tell compelling stories using video launched a successful career in advertising.”

It also mentions his main passion, which is following his son Nick’s baseball career at Stanford.  An interesting note in the article is that about the same time Nick’s baseball career was taking off, Chris was just developing the Squizz concept.

“About the same time Nick was starting high school, one of Chris’s advertising clients called him to discuss a project. Chris didn’t realize that meeting would be the genesis of SQUIZZ Digital Signage.”
